Our Story
Aqua Green began with a problem every household in Islamabad knows: you cannot tell, by looking, whether the water in front of you is safe. Everything we built since exists to answer that.
Clear is not the same as clean
Tap water across much of Pakistan arrives looking perfectly fine. What it carries — dissolved salts, nitrates, heavy metals picked up from old pipework, bacteria from a pressure drop three streets away — is invisible. Families were boiling water, buying filters that were never changed, and still getting sick.
Aqua Green was set up to remove the guesswork. Not to sell a lifestyle, and not to sell a mountain on a label — to run a purification line properly, test every batch, and be able to show anyone the paperwork.
That is still the whole business. Water goes in from a controlled source, six stages of reverse osmosis strip out what should not be there, minerals go back in for taste and health, and the bottle is sealed under conditions we can defend in a lab report.
Source to doorstep
Four links, all of them ours. Nothing about the water changes hands to a third party between the intake valve and your kitchen.
A source we control
Water is drawn from a protected, sealed borehole on our own site rather than bought in by tanker. The wellhead is enclosed, the depth is logged, and the raw feed is sampled before it ever reaches the treatment line — so we know what we are starting from, every single day.
Six stages of reverse osmosis
Sediment and carbon filtration take out the coarse material and the chlorine. The RO membrane then removes what filters cannot — dissolved salts, nitrates, heavy metals, and anything else above roughly a ten-thousandth of a micron. UV and ozone finish the job on the microbiological side.
Tested before it leaves
Every batch is checked in our own lab for TDS, pH, turbidity and microbiological load, and sent for independent verification on a rolling schedule. A batch that misses a limit does not get released — it gets flushed and the line is investigated. The reports are published, not filed away.
Delivered by our own routes
Bottles are washed, sanitised, filled and sealed in one pass, then loaded onto our own vehicles. Running the last mile ourselves means the person who hands you the bottle can answer for it — and empties come straight back to the wash line instead of sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
Four things we don’t bend on
Purity first
If a batch is borderline it does not ship. There is no commercial argument that beats this one.
Show the numbers
Lab reports are public. Ask for the batch on your bottle and you get the signed copy for it.
Give the water back
A business that takes groundwater has a debt to the watershed. We pay ours in trees.
Answer the phone
One number, staffed by people who work at the plant and can actually fix what went wrong.
Why there’s a leaf in the logo
“Green” was not decoration. A bottling company draws from an aquifer, and an aquifer is only as healthy as the catchment feeding it. Strip the trees off a slope and the rain that used to soak in runs off instead — taking the topsoil with it and leaving the water table lower every year.
So we plant. Native species, on degraded catchment land, with somebody responsible for watering them through the first two summers — which is the part most plantation drives skip.
- Native and climate-appropriate species only, no fast-growing filler
- Sites chosen for catchment value, not for photographs
- Survival counted at 24 months, not saplings counted on day one
